Restoration News

Restoration of the east wall and sanctuary is finally complete and the church once again looks magnificent.  The work has cost about £200,000, roughly half of  which has been borrowed. As a result fundraising is continuing and we have had some successful events as well as some generous donations but we still need to raise almost £100,000.

Patron: Archbishop Desmond Tutu

We were very fortunate that Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Patron of our Restoration Appeal, came to dedicate our new wall at our Patronal Festival on 20th May 2007.
